Some of the agents who got hold of original winning notifications that were sent to the original Nigerian DV 2011 winners and the agent made fake winning notifications using the original one in the name of their other unsuspecting clients who are not selected as DV 2011 winners. Then called those innocent clients and told them that they are selected as winners for the DV 2011 and if they want to get the winning notification set, they must pay money to those scam agents.
Plenty people got these fake DV Lottery winning notifications after paying to those agents and sent their DV Lottery visa applications to the KCC, as they thought that they were real winners.
Now, when they contacted the KCC with their name and case numbers they said to these victims that the provided information is not matching with the winners list.
You must understand there are millions of DV Lottery applicants from all over the world and KCC can’t provide support for all those applicants individually.
So if any body contact you saying that you are winner in the dV Lottery, don’t be overjoyed. Make your moves slowly. Before you pay any money to those scam agents, go with them and ask them to go to the online result checking web site in their and feed your confirmation number your name and year of birth to see if you are a real winner.
Other wise don’t pay to them. Call the police.
Please pass this message to your Nigerian friends as we are getting many complaints of these kind of fake DV Lottery winning notification scam from there.

DV Lottery applicants do send their online E-DV entry to participate in the program through the online web site. Then the winners are selected and asked to proceed with the winning by applying for the American Immigrant visa and at the time they will not be required to pay for the visa application fees. They will be called for the interview according to their case numbers. (Some people with the higher case numbers will not be called for the interview, if the available visas are exhausted)
On the day of the interview the will pay the visa and DV processing fees to the consular office and will have to face the interview. At the interview if they are found eligible, they will be issued with the required American visa on the day or later. That visa is valid for period of 6 months from the date of issue. Within the validity period the visa holder must enter in to the US territory reporting at any border post by air, sea, road or train.

I was told that I am a DV Lottery Winner. But those people are asking money from me to give the winning notification.
We are getting a lot of emails like this mostly from Africa.
So here is the thing you have to do.
Tell those agents that you are going to tell to the police as you had paid them for their service and they can’t intercept the mail and claim money for it.
First complaint to the local police about the indecent with full details.
Secondly send one complaint email to the Embassy with the agent’s full details, your personal details, contact details and the photo that you had sent to the lottery. (This may allow the consular office not to issue the visa to a fraud person.)
Send one copy of the email to the KCC. So they too can take necessary action.
So if you are going to apply for the DV lottery through a local agent stay next to them and send your application, In the E-DV application form tell them to use your mailing address. if they don’t use it go to the police and make a complaint then and there. It will safe guard your winning in the later days, if you are selected for the dv lottery program.

DV 2011 Winner’s Visa Bulletin for the month of October 2010 is now available in the internet. Here you can find which case numbers are going to be called for the interview or will be allowed for to change their status in the USA.
Normally the visa interview letter will come 4-6 weeks prior to the interview date to your address by normal postal mail.

Now it is open for to check the DV 2011 results.
I had lost my DV lottery confirmation number. How can I recover it? Can I check the results with out it?
The lost confirmation number will not be re-issued by the KCC. No you can’t check the results online with out it.
Do I have to check the dv results every month.
No, if you can check it once with correct information it is enough.

DV Lottery confirmation lost due to crash of my computer, how to recover it. This is the question we are getting now everyday from people. Up to now they were confident that they will receive their winning notification from the KCC for the DV Lottery. The time is already passed and they are now ready to check their DV lottery result in the online web site. But don’t know where they kept their confirmation number. So they give us a lie as that their computer is broken and couldn’t find the DV Lottery confirmation number. Because sending one email will not cost even 5 cents.
We have already advised all our visitors to write down the confirmation number in a paper and to keep it in a safe place.
Copy and paste it in a notepad and save it in the my documents.
Send the DV lottery confirmation number from from your Google mail to Yahoo mail. This one will allow you to find it in the Google sent section and in your Yahoo mail inbox if you don’t delete them.
If your computer is broken you can go to a computer technician and can recover all the content from the computer using the recovery tool. This is the only way if you had lost your confirmation number due to the crash of your computer.
People can check the DV lottery result online result from 01/07/2010 using the fill and find the selection result method. You must take note that if your country postal service is good there is no use in checking your inline result in the American Government’s official web site. Also don’t try to check your results in the first week as millions of people are going to check their DV results at one time and the servers will crash. DV 2011 Online Results will be available for you to check from the month of July 2010. The online DV 2011 results will allow the entire DV 2011 Green card lottery applicants to check their status to find out whether they are selected for the program or not. For this the DV lottery applicants will have to provide their confirmation number along with their personal information. Many people want to apply for the DV Lottery with their job experience. According to the DV Lottery instructio9ns you must have 2years of work experience within the last five years after learning the job for 2 years. Normally those jobs which are accepted for the DV lottery requires American college education. Don’t trust your agents, read the DV 2012 instruction yourself and understand the work experience requirements.
For the Occupation requirements when you check the Dept of labor You must find your eligibility for the DV 2012 Jobs, you must have, within the past five years, have two years of experience in an occupation that is designated as Job Zone 4 or 5, classified in a Specific Vocational Preparation (SVP) range of 7.0 or Higher in the DOL web site.
